Beware of a kiss under the full moon. It will change your life forever.

Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves—Legend's Run is famous for them. She's used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend's Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student. But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight.

Her best friends may never forgive her if she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who's from the wrong side of town. But she can't deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste's hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend's Run.

Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens . . . once in a full moon.

Rating – 4/5 stars

Judge the Cover – The cover is quite pretty and I saw the sequel’s cover also. I wish I could see what Brandon looks like as a werewolf though.

Selecting – The cover sold it, and the eerie sentence “Beware of a kiss under the full moon. It will change your life forever.” Who wouldn’t want to read this book after reading that sentence?

Review – I see some people didn’t quite like this book. They love the cover but the story didn’t quite do it for them. Well, I’m a teenage girl and I say I actually like this book a lot. It was a quick read, and the romance is what most girls would dream of having. So, I know most of my friends would enjoy this book.

Celeste is likeable character from the start. She is the odd one out of her group of friends. She is known for liking creepy things. Her group of friends is three girls including her and three boys. They are paired off into couples, but unlike the other two, Celeste is heads over heels about her boyfriend Nash. She doesn’t think much about it though, until a new guy comes into town.

Brandon is cute but since he is part of the wrong side of town, he is excluded from Celeste crowd. Those boundaries are about to be broken. Celeste gets lost in the woods and then finds herself surrounded by wolves. Brandon comes to her rescue but gets bitten by one of the wolves. But that’s not the strangest thing that happens. After he rescued her, Celeste and he start to hang out in secret, and they began to get closer. When they share a kiss under the full moon, Brandon begins to change.

Now, Celeste is not only protecting her secret about seeing him, she is also protecting his secret about turning into a werewolf. After some more wolf encounters in the town, some people are claiming they see Legend’s Run Famous Werewolf. Which has Celeste and Brandon scared that it’s him.

The book was quick but it was a fun read. I actually predicted a lot of things before I read them, which has been happening a lot lately. Maybe I’m reading too much. Other than that, it’s a good book. I can’t wait to read the sequel.

Favorite Character – Celeste volunteers at nursing home and one of guys there is such a likable character. Mr. Worthington was a fun character being an old man. I loved his story about Legend’s Run Werewolf. There wasn’t any dull moment when his parts came up.

Least Favorite Character – Nash and Dr. Meadows. I can’t really say more.
Favorite Scene – Celeste and Brandon kiss and man was it romantic, but I think I like more when they kissed when he was a werewolf.

Author’s NEWS – Second book is titled, Magic of the Moonlight, and releases December 27, 2011.
