When the Sea is Rising Red Giveaway

Here it is! Sorry a little late, but we had some problem with our Amazon account. They told us it will be back to normal this Monday. We are hoping this is true because it's how we send the books as gifts. It's cheaper for us to send packages faster through Amazon Prime, because the books arrive 1-2 days.

Anyways...here is the book for best of both worlds, which mean it has the qualities of both teams. If you are new here, we have two teams every month and in the end, we choose a cover that has a mixture of both. This month cover teams were Girl in Dresses and Hidden Faces. When the Sea is Rising Red has a beautiful cover with both a girl in a dress, and her face is hidden.

We have not read this book yet, because like some of you, we have to wait until it's delivered to our doorstep February 28, 2012. But from the reviews on Goodreads, this book sounds freaking amazing!

Here's a little information about the book:

When the Sea is Rising Red
Author: Cat Hellisen
Publisher: Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR)
Release: February 28, 2012
Hardcover, 296 pages
After seventeen-year-old Felicita’s dearest friend Ilven kills herself to escape an arranged marriage, Felicita chooses freedom over privilege. She fakes her own death and leaves her sheltered life as one of Pelimburg’s magical elite behind. Living in the slums, scrubbing dishes for a living, she falls for charismatic Dash while also becoming fascinated with vampire Jannik.

Then something shocking washes up on the beach: Ilven's death has called out of the sea a dangerous wild magic. Felicita must decide whether her loyalties lie with the family she abandoned... or with those who would twist this dark power to destroy Pelimburg's caste system, and the whole city along with it.
