She fought and sacrificed and won him back from the most evil of evils. Now is the time for happily-ever-afters, right?

Not so fast.

A boy—even an angel—is hardly the solution to Eden’s problems. She’s still caught between life and death, still cursed to spread poison with her touch. She’s lost one best friend and another is quickly unraveling. And now something is happening to the mortals. Something very, very bad.

What happens in the dark spaces? The ones between life and death, love and hate, betrayal and redemption, sanity and delusion.

Or good and evil.

Eden is about to find out.

The riveting sequel to Leah Clifford's A Touch Mortal.
Love the new hairstyle that Eden has! The covers for this series are really gorgeous.
Pain racked through her. As it had earlier that morning, the pressure in her guts built. This time was so much worse. She doubled over with a moan. A strange gurgle rose out of her as the cramp finally broke off. Her mouth filled with a horrid taste.
A Touch Morbid was fast-paced filled with tons of surprises. We get more knowledge about Siders, the Bound, and the Fallen. Also, we find out what happens when Eden doesn’t kill Siders. It's only bad things. And want to know what else? A lot of sacrifices. You grow on a character and then they disappear. It's hurts. It really hurts. Why, Leah, why?!

Proceed with caution. There are spoilers. If you haven’t read A Touch Mortal, then don’t continue.  However, if you are curious like most are, then by all means, read on.

A Touch Morbid continues on where A Touch Mortal has left off. Eden, Az, and Jarrod are searching for Gabe through-out the city. At the end of A Touch Mortal, Gabe confessed his sins and has Fallen. He is in a dark place now and fighting the urge to kill humans. Luke isn’t too happy about this. Usually when a Bound has Fallen, they control the urge and become monstrous. Gabe, however, is making it through but he is slowly failing.

Eden is desperate to find him. So desperate, she seeks help from Madeline. Madeline is another Sider that rules over other Siders. Eden is hasty to trust her, but Az is getting close to falling and needs Gabe. Madeline will only help Eden if Eden takes a Sider known as Vaughn. Vaughn is a Sider who is giving the Touch out to humans for a price. The humans are using it as drug. Madeline wants him finished because she doesn’t want the Bound to take notice on the Siders.

Eden doesn’t want to kill anymore Siders, after finding out what happens when Siders die. Eden is becoming very sick, and something is hurting her. I was really worried about her throughout the book.

In this book, you get more character point of views. You get Eden’s, Gabe's, Kristen’s, and Jarrod’s. Gabe is fighting the urge to kill things, Kristen is slowly losing it without Gabe’s help, and Jarrod has found another girl to help. I really like knowing these new characters point of views, and have really grown liking all the characters from the story. And the ending!! Ah!! What a bad and good ending mixed together! Some bad  things happen but one good thing did happen. Can't wait for the third book!

If you like darker paranormal stories, than this one is for you. Or if you like angel books, I highly suggest this one.
This is the latest release. The last book of the trilogy comes out 2013, it is currently untitled.
