ARC Giveaway: What's Left of Me

I, Emilia, just received an unexpected Advanced Reader's Copy yesterday. To my surprise, it wasn't a book I requested. I already received an e-galley of this book through Edelweiss. Not only did I already review this book, but I also got a published copy of the book last week. Since the book releases today, I don't feel bad for giving this ARC away.

But you must know that this is not a finished copy of the book. There were some mistakes in the e-galley I received so, I am guessing there also mistakes in this one too.

Also, since I am paying for shipping out of my own pocket, I can only ship the book to United States/Canada residents.

Here are the details for the book:
What's Left of Me
Author: Kat Zhang
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: September 18, 2012
Series: The Hybrid Chronicles #1
Format: Advanced Reader's Copy
Seek: My Review, Goodreads, Amazon
I should not exist. But I do.

Eva and Addie started out the same way as everyone else—two souls woven together in one body, taking turns controlling their movements as they learned how to walk, how to sing, how to dance. But as they grew, so did the worried whispers. Why aren’t they settling? Why isn’t one of them fading? The doctors ran tests, the neighbors shied away, and their parents begged for more time. Finally Addie was pronounced healthy and Eva was declared gone. Except, she wasn’t . . .

For the past three years, Eva has clung to the remnants of her life. Only Addie knows she’s still there, trapped inside their body. Then one day, they discover there may be a way for Eva to move again. The risks are unimaginable-hybrids are considered a threat to society, so if they are caught, Addie and Eva will be locked away with the others. And yet . . . for a chance to smile, to twirl, to speak, Eva will do anything.
And here is the trailer for the book:

  4. I absolutely love the trailer! Trailers are always better when the main character is introduced and you hear their narration (monologues) about how they view their lives throughout the novel.

    Awesome giveaway! thank you!

  6. Let me say this first so I don't just sound like I am being mean. I am not a fan of book trailers for the most part. I don't know why, but they are usually just "eh" for me. Now about this trailer; I liked 2 things about it. I thought that baby at the beginning was so stinkin adorable. And I liked the reflection in the mirror at the end. Other than that, it was alright I reckon. Thanks for the chance to win!
